Now…

“Hmm.” Lease’s confusion throughout Cavin’s story only continued to grow. Light winds blow past them from Reaper’s back. “So, would The Infinity Sun reverse the effects of The Eternal Moon completely?”

“I don’t know.” Cavin is lost in thought about the statue of one of Earth’s most historical figures. “But it can’t be good.”

“Especially if they’re willing to kill for it,” Krone agrees.

Adjacent to the group, a lithe and agile pre-Rizzen Triad moves with fluid grace. His role within the group in the sky is that of a scout and observer, always alert to potential threats or opportunities. With a keen eye and unparalleled stealth, he ensures the safety of the travelers during their soaring journey.

Cowering once more in Lease’s arms is a once fierce lioness cub. Seeming to absorb the traits of her partner, Leonora is weary of the heights and the danger they faced prior to their escape. Her job is to protect her partner at all costs, but what is the cost if her partner will not fight by her side?

As the group soars through the expansive skies, their collective gaze falls upon the town of Oblito nestled below. Mild structures and lingering smoke bear witness to past struggles faced by the town's inhabitants. The group's shared determination is palpable, with feelings that their arrival could herald a turning point in their journey.

“You guys see that?” Cavin shields his eyes with one hand and points to the largest building in the small town, decorated with glass and metal. Embroidered with the mark of the sun, “Skylight Corp. HQ” beams in large font afront the towering structure.

“Not very subtle, eh?” Krone shakes his head, scoffing.

“Oblito should have a Healing Room,” Lease confirms. “We should head there before doing anything crazy.”

The two boys nod at each other in agreement and shout to their Spirit Beasts to head for landing. Reaper caws as he adjusts into a light nose-diving position and begins shooting toward the ground. Buzzing subtly, Triad follows closely behind. Upon landing, Krone presses the button on his Bond Bracelet to revert Reaper back to his pre-Rizzen form.

The group acknowledges a broken sign at the town’s edge that faintly welcomes them with open arms. Past the sound of crunching foliage, they head toward the building with a medicine bag logo. The door swings open with the sound of a bell, and two familiar figures walk out.

“Holy—” Cavin trips over himself. “It’s Dr. Foz.”

“And Isa.” Lease smiles. “What a sight for sore eyes.”

“More like a sore for even sorer eyes,” Krone sighs.

Standing confidently, Isa looks to be speaking down to the researcher, who stands with a hand placed on a shaking head. They seem to be in the middle of an intense debate when the group interrupts.

“Dr. Foz,” Cavin acknowledges the researcher, “it is so good to see you.”

The researcher looks to the teenagers, empathy crossing his face. “Cavin, Krone, Lease.” He notices the cuts and bruises adorning their skin. “Oh my, what on Earth—”

“Hey,” Isa shouts, pushing past Dr. Foz and the two boys.
